Not bad. You have the technique down well. Use more dynamics, slow some things down and really show the cuts. Also I can't see your legs at all so I can't tell but it looks like your stances could be better.

Hi Ladale,

I started a martial arts book group over at Martialmatrix.com. The first book we're discussing is The Book of Five Rings, so I invited Hanshi Kaufman. He's available for discussions on the topic thru postings if you're interested. Planning to start one here on Crump Dojo in the future, but at the moment, you've got access to the Hanshi thru the book group. He's also one of my friends here on Crump Dojo so you can request him.

That is the very same Hanshi Kaufman. If you liked his version of 5 Rings, you should also read his translation of Sun Tzu's Art of War. If you want, I can get you in touch with him and he'll answer all kind's of questions. He's an INCREDIBLE resource and my most treasured teachers. Mentor is more what he is. you should also check out his book Shogun Scrolls.

Interesting... thanks for letting me know. I'd actually like to meet him for a research project I'm working on. I'll keep you in mind as things progress. Thanks my friend. How's Japan treating you?
